Our gorgeous new merino sock is infused with 25% Polyamide, for strength and durability - while this yarn is as soft as most pure merino sock yarns, it has the extra toughness to stand up to toenails. Because the merino is ULTRA soft to begin with, you'll find this sock is the perfect yarn for both Socks AND shawls, especially fabulous when you build a shawl with multiple colorways.
